Enquiries and reference photographs
When you use a Contact, Commissions or shipping quotation form, I receive the information you submit. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, Australian delivery postcode, enquiry, framing preferences and any reference photographs or other images you choose to upload. A shipping enquiry also includes the painting’s title, product ID and page address so I can identify the artwork.
I use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss paintings or commissions, prepare quotations and manage the collection or delivery arrangements you request. Please upload only images you have permission to share, and avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Client-supplied reference photographs are used to discuss and create commissioned paintings. I do not publish these reference photographs for promotional purposes. I may photograph and display completed commissioned paintings on my website, in my portfolio, at exhibitions or on social media as examples of my work.
This website is hosted by Wix. Its forms and associated services handle enquiry records and uploaded files. Where enabled, enquiry notifications are sent to my artist email inbox. The Commissions form also uses Google’s reCAPTCHA service to help protect it from spam.
Purchases and payment
When you buy a painting through the website, Wix checkout collects contact and order information, including your email address, name and telephone number, together with address and delivery information where applicable. Order records identify the artwork purchased, price, payment status and fulfilment arrangements. This information is used to process the purchase, communicate about it and arrange collection or delivery.
Online card payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe handles payment information and uses information about transactions and devices for payment processing, security and fraud prevention. Wix and the business receive information needed to manage the order and its payment status. If you choose a manual payment method, relevant payment and order records are also handled through the services used to arrange and receive that payment.
Please do not send card details through an enquiry form or email.
Website use, analytics and cookies
Wix and its services use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the website and support features such as the shopping cart and checkout. Wix Analytics also provides reports about website use, including visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, device types and approximate visitor locations. These reports help me understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect some website features. This notice does not itself change your cookie settings.
External content and services
Journal articles and subscription links lead to Substack. Article images and other externally hosted content may involve requests to the relevant provider when displayed. Existing Elfsight feed installations also use Elfsight’s service. These providers may receive technical information when their content loads. Following an external link or subscribing through Substack is subject to that service’s own privacy practices.
Wix, Stripe, Google and other relevant service providers handle information under their own privacy policies and may process it outside Australia. Access and retention of information
I personally manage enquiries and customer information received through this website. I do not provide other individuals with access to my enquiry records or artist email account.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, fulfil commissions and purchases, maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact me to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements.
